Useful resources

I have a few things down here already, some finished, some to be done when I get back from the South early next year….including linking to sources of information such as ARGO float data and remotely-sensed environmental datasets that are readily imported into R.

1. Geospatial analysis and animal track filtering including linking through ODBC and MS Access databases

Continuous time CRAWl model for animal telemetry data (argos, old error structure)

Bayesian switching state space model for telemetry data (argos, old error structure)

Mike Sumner tripEstimation model (argos, old error structure)

2. Multivariate analyses, GAM/GAMM/GLM/GLMM

3. Bayesian methods (WinBUGS, OpenBUGS, JAGS and implementing them in R)

4. Stuff for stable isotope analyses

5. Molecular genetics resources (links to software, useful R packages and scripts)

6. Calibrating animal-borne CTD sensor data using ARGO float data from the Southern Ocean.
