C’mon, i’ve only just started – this will take a while to populate.  And I will probably write them as separate subpages before it all gets just too much.

I use the software platform ‘R‘ almost exclusively for my analyses, run through the R Studio front end, both on windows and mac OSX.  Easiest way to get the bulk of the packages you need is to use CRAN Task Views.

For publication-quality graphs and such, I use  OriginLab and Igor Pro.  You have to pay for these, but they do come up good.
